Obviously this fabulous tote bag could be used for beach trips, swimming trips, picnics etc etc.
It is easily big enough hold a couple of beach towels, books, sunglasses, sun cream etc. I’ve added a handy key finder so you won’t need to rummage for yours. And I made a small zipped pouch to keep phones and the like it, to try and keep them sand / water free.
It’s made from an old paddling pool - and it has a translucent look. For me, it’s perfect - you can sort of see where things are from the outside, such as that bottle of sun cream, but only because you know it is in there. Others won’t really notice your contents.
It’s made from a single layer of the pool plastic to make it lighter weight, should you want to pack for a flight. The straps go right under the whole bag for added strength. I used contrast rainbow thread throughout. Two fixed length handles 56cm each.
Because this is a used pool, even though I have cleaned the plastic many times, it may have some marks, due to use. It is, however, unique, fun and sustainable.
