PLEASE NOTE this bag is made with a long haired goat hide …but there are a couple of places where the hide looks like it’s had a hair trim. I have included close up pics. You can see them on the bag, but I think once the bag is in use, no one else will notice them at all. I have priced the bag to reflect all the imperfections.
The remainder of the exterior is made from an old black leather sofa (again some age and patina to the leather but it has been thoroughly cleaned with saddle soap).
It is lined with a vintage jade green cotton curtain. The bag has 2 fixed length leather handles, 54cm from top rivet to top rivet. Key finder, and leather slip pocket with magnetic clasp to secure. The bag also has a magnetic clasp closure.
Although the bag is made from ‘non perfect’ reclaimed materials, this does not detract from the bag’s beauty in my opinion but celebrate its sustainability.
