A totally unique red leather handbag hand crafted from an old leather chair.
The colour has a salmon pink hue in natural daylight - but looks more traditional pale terracotta with electric lights. I’ve included pics of both.
The front and back of the bag is plain except for my logo on one side. The interior of the bag is larger than you would imagine - due to the large base. (I fit a pair of flip flops, sun cream and all sorts in mine when I go out in summer.)
There are two fixed length handles - just long enough to pop over the shoulder. It’s lined with a reclaimed vintage floral curtain. One internal zipped pocket. Silver coloured hardware, including bag feet. Detachable bag charm - which could be used as a keyring if preferred. Every bag is one of a kind.
PLEASE NOTE: This leather does have signs of wear from its previous life as a chair. I have tried to take pics of these. This does not detract from the bag and reminds us of its sustainable ethos. The leather has been thoroughly cleaned with saddle soap.
