I haven’t made a dog themed bag for a while and I had a small brown piece of leather - the perfect size and shape to become a sausage dog.
This fun and unique bag is made from beige industry waste leather and a section of dark brown old leather sofa. And she’s pretty roomy.
The bag is lined with dog print fabric and has a leather slip pocket and leather key finder to help reduce the need for rummaging. The slip pocket has a magnetic clasp to the top - and I can add one to the top of the bag if you would like. Just add a note in the info for Helen box on the website.
The beige colour is a lovely rich tone in natural outdoor light, but looks different in my hallway so I added pics of both for reference.
It has 2 fixed length handles - 63 cm from top rivet to top rivet. Size: H 35cm. W 475cm approx. Box base 7cm.
PLEASE NOTE that because this bag is made from old leather sofas, there are some little imperfections - possibly tiny spots of house paint. The beige leather is brand new, but currently has some creases. These may come out with use but please see pics. These things don’t detract from the bag’s beauty and reminds us of its sustainability.
