Sunset leather bag
I wanted to come up with designs to help me use even more of my scraps so here’s one of my first batch of pictorial leather bags. This image is a fabulous sunset or sunrise made from autumn coloured scraps of leather. The bottom of the image is bottle green although it looks almost blue in some of my pics.
This bag is made from new industry waste leather - so that's leather destined for landfill, because it was a small offcut or it has a flaw.
It has a long adjustable leather strap - crossbody length but adjustable to make it more of a shoulder length strap (80cm and 145cm). I could make it shorter if you prefer. Brass coloured hardware. Striped fabric to line. Zip closure . One internal zipped pocket. Detachable leather tassel.
PLEASE NOTE that because this bag is made from leather waste, there may be imperfections in the leather. This doesn’t detract from the bag’s beauty and reminds us of its sustainability.
