A neighbour gave me a bag of her mum’s old sewing materials. In the bottom of the bag were a few items she had embroidered many decades ago.
It seemed such a shame for such beautiful vintage embroidery not to be seen. I knew they would make perfect purses.
I popped through the washing machine to freshen it up. They are both backed with upholstery samples from the local sofa shop. Both are lined with mustard coloured fine corduroy.
This purse is my larger size. It’s large enough to hold a couple of credit cards, a key and a lippy etc.
